The Corowa Common members have proudly donated $7,000 to the Corowa Lions Club's Cans for Cancer project, with the funds passed directly to the Lions Children's Cancer Research Foundation.

Pictured is Ian "Painter" Rogers (left) presenting the cheque to Past District Governor John Houghton at the Lions dinner meeting on 26 September.

This contribution is another example of Corowa Common supporting local community initiatives and worthwhile causes.

Hume Street, Corowa NSW 2646, Australia

We acknowledge the First Peoples of this land, the Bangerang people, who have cared for the Murray River and surrounding country for countless generations. We pay our respects to their Elders - past, present and emerging - and recognise their ongoing connection to land, waters and community. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people visiting or gathering here.

At Corowa Common, we are honoured to operate on this beautiful riverside country and commit to supporting stewardship, cultural respect and sustainable care of this place for generations to come.
